Establishment of the business
Black Chillie Style was started February 2016 by Magnus and Jolanda Kamah. We registered the company and startedlooking for the perfect location for a shop.We found one in the heart of Observatory. In April we started renovations at the shop and finished the end of July. We stocked the shop with Aftican wax printed cotton fabric and opened mid September. Our team of dedicated tailors made African dresses and African mens wear for merchandise as well as customer's orders.
Magnus manage the day to day running of the shop while Jolanda takes care of the administrative side. At the moment we have three trained tailors that design and sew for us.
To grow our business by providing quality products and services at great value to our customers. To transform fashion, build confidence and provide a medium for individual expression. To contract talented tailors that will bring customer requests to life.
To design and create merchandise that suit the unique needs of our customers. To open shops across South Africa that functions as independent boutiques. To stay true to our African roots.
Passion for fashion, Stay committed to quality over quantity, Do more with less, Employ talented and artistic tailors, Stay African.
